Consumer:Didanosine (ddI) is primarily eliminated by the kidney. Patients with renal impairment may be at greater risk for ddI-related toxicity due to decreased drug clearance. Therapy with ddI should be administered cautiously at reduced dosages in patients with renal impairment.
