Consumer:

The use of demeclocycline has been associated with a dose-dependent, reversible, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus syndrome in some patients receiving long-term therapy. Symptoms of diabetes insipidus include polyuria, polydipsia, and weakness. Therapy with demeclocycline should be administered cautiously in patients with preexisting nephrogenic diabetes insipidus.
