Consumer:Etravirine is primarily metabolized by the liver. No dose adjustment of etravirine is required in patients with mild (Child-Pugh Class A) or moderate (Child-Pugh Class B) hepatic impairment. Caution is recommended when using this agent in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) as the pharmacokinetics of etravirine have not been evaluated in these patients.
