Consumer:Pemetrexed can suppress bone marrow function, as manifested by neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and anemia. Patients with myelosuppression should be monitored carefully. A complete blood count is suggested at the beginning of each cycle and as needed. Treatment should not be initiated unless the ANC is >=1,500 cells/mm3, and platelet count is >=100,000 cells/mm3.
