Consumer:The use of denileukin diftitox increase serum alanine aminotransferase or aspartate aminotransferase. It is recommended to monitor liver function tests and an albumin reading should be obtained prior to initiation of each course of therapy. Therapy with denileukin diftitox should be withhold if serum albumin levels are less than 3.0 g/dL. Care should be exercised when using this agent in patients at risk of liver disease.
